Kusatsu Onsen is characterized by its abundance of hot water. Of the many hot springs in Kusatsu Onsen, Otaki-no-yu uses the Nigawa-source, which is famous for its "beauty water. Otakinoyu has been in operation for more than 20 years, and in December 2001, it underwent a major renovation for the first time since its establishment. In December 2011, the bathhouse underwent a major renovation, and a "private room (private) bath" and a long-awaited "combination bath" exclusively for women were newly established! We invite you to Otaki-no-yu, where you can experience the bliss of hot spring bathing to your heart's content.

There were five public bathhouses around Yubatake during the Edo and Meiji periods: "Oza-no-yu," "Watano-yu," "Kakake-no-yu," "Taki-no-yu," and "Eagle-no-yu," and this is a reconstruction of one of them, "Oza-no-yu. Gozanoyu" is said to be associated with Minamoto no Yoritomo, and there is a theory that the name "Gozanoyu" came from the stone on which Lord Yoritomo sat when he came to Mihara Field to hunt.
